New York, NY - After returning to the USA from a 5 month tour and performing period in Southeast Asia, Jazz Vocalist Michelle Walker opens her summer touring concert schedule with shows at one of her favorite New York stages, Smoke Jazz Club. She will be performing two nights of new music from her new popular, powerhouse fusion band Opius Bliss and as well as selections from her latest CD release "Love Misery". On Thursday July 12th Michelle is joined by pianist Sean Fitzpatrick, Bassist Michael O'Brien, Drummer Sean Dixon and special guest Guitarist Pete Smith.

This residency continues her touring and promoting of her new CD titled "Love Misery" out now on JGP Records. As part of the visiting international artist series, Michelle will be in residence from May 18th thru June 25th 2016 at The Living Room. She will be performing every Tuesday - Saturday night from 9:15 pm until 12:00 midnight. The band includes pianist Randy Cannon, Bassist Therdsak Wongvichien and drummer Willard Dyson.
